whos dating meagan good - Droid google latitude not updating

In the last few weeks alone, Google has been adding a ton of functionality to Maps like useful parking spot reminders and the ability to share your favorite local spots with friends.

If your friends don’t use Google’s social network, there’s no way to use Google Maps for their location anymore.

If you try to use Google Maps without installing the next update so you can keep this feature, know that Google will be officially retiring Latitude and disabling the feature on August 9.

Offline Mode has been modified and moved away from the main UI, but it still around for you to use.

To save a map for use in Offline Mode, press the search icon at the top of the app and either speak or say “OK Maps” and the area that you can see on the screen will be cached.

The UI looks much cleaner, continuing Google’s recent love affair with card style UI and simple color layouts.

Most of the buttons you are used to using are right where you left them, with features like one finger zoom still perfectly intact. The menus which once dropped down now slide out from a drawer on the side, instead.Interfaces aside, this new Android release has a few tricks that its i Phone counterpart doesn’t have (quite yet): Don’t be sweatin’ too hard over the lack of realtime traffic rerouting and all that other stuff on your platform, though, i OS users; from what I gleaned during the meeting, it sounds like the i OS version of the update — complete with proper i Pad support — is just waiting for Apple’s oh-so-crucial greenlight.Alas, the interface revamp means a few old features had to get the chop.Google says the update should be “gradually rolling out to Android 4.0.3 users over the next few weeks”.The move is part of a wider closure of Latitude that will see Google moving out of check-ins and real-time location tracking, as well as offering these to developers via a set of APIs.
